Fashion. Photography. Music. Film: An ArtPoint Panel Discussion

Wednesday, June 27

Project One, San Francisco

7-10 pm

Join ArtPoint for a conversation about fashion, media and Jean Paul Gaultier. Throughout his career Gaultier has looked to television, film, music and street culture for inspiration. With humorous, surprising and completely original results, Gaultier has effectively reached mass audiences and super-stardom through his artistic collaborations. Particularly interesting is his dedication to creating a multimedia portfolio, working with musicians, filmmakers, and live performers. His unconventional approach has not only caused a great stir in the world of fashion, but also challenged traditional societal norms.

Jill D’Alessandro, Curator of Costume and Textile Arts at Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco

Bacca da Silva, Creative Director and Fashion Designer at Bacca da Silva
